On the way back to the hotel past a horrible car accident - makes you take stock!!
Went to a little place just a few minutes drive from our hotel, called Rothiemurchus (no not Rothy-mucus as I mistakenly first pronounced it). It's a place full of little businesses offering different activities, got a tea rooms, shop etc.. Anyway we have booked to go quad-biking tomorrow morning - we asked if bad weather might mean it has to be called off - their response "the wetter, the better!. Nice!
Lovely little shop. Henry had an ice-cream - bloody hell it is barely above freezing! (probably more like 18* but I don't do cold very well!).
Back at the hotel Hen & Rich went for a swim, Bill got his daily dose of messenger-ing (??), and I felt strangely guilty for just lying around on the bed watching TV for an hour or so! Takes a while to realise it's ok to relax :-)
We ate in the bistro which was MUCH better than the restaurant of last night. Lovely leisurely meal and managed to obtain beautiful blue goblet shaped glass! (hats off to Henry - well done my son - will be re-naming you 'artful dodger').
Intentions of playing crib went out the window because everyone is shattered - they're all asleep now and I am struggling to 'be relaxed' so probably going to watch some mindless TV.... night all x x
