Much gentle, and not so gentle persuasion - and Billy managed to leave the bedroom having swapped skinny jeans, punk belts and 'converse' boots with walking trousers, walking boots and a waterproof jacket. Icing on the cake is that he is not wearing white powder and eyeliner for probably the first time in about 9-10 months. I forgot what a lovely face he has under all that gunk! He hasn't even straightened his hair (good job, it's pouring outside and gusty).
