Weather is predictably unpredictable already. Very warm sunny blue sky, suddenly black blanket rolls in from nowhere, big drops of rain that bring with them that summer smell that if you could bottle you'd be a meiiwyonairre! And then, downpour, brief though, giving way to creeping blue sky with shafts of rather promising, but sadly misguided sun, slapped down by the sudden chill, enough to make you reach for a woolly. Then downpour again, heavier than before, relentless for a while, torrential even. the water has nowhere to go, and my trouserlegs try to help with that. Tapers off, leaving grey mist for a while. Gone. Then yes, yes, yes, hello sun, warmer, yes warmer, brighter again as grey clouds roll off again and it's beautiful...
